Who's affected?
Huntington's Disease affects both men and women of all races. Over 15,000 Americans have Huntington's Disease. Around 150,000 others have a 50% risk of developing this disease. Since this disease is genetically inherited, families with a history of HD or symptoms are at a higher risk of developing Huntington's Disease.
